Test Rides
Why not come to Winchester by train, test ride a lightweight Cytronex powered electric bike and enjoy a day or afternoon sightseeing in the ancient capital of Britain. Winchester is only 1 hour from Waterloo by train and we are two minutes walk from the station. We have two showrooms which are stocked with a wide range of Cytronex electric bicycles. Our friendly staff will be delighted to provide a demonstration of the Cytronex concept.
Before you come it is a good idea to check that we have your chosen frame size in stock, please Book A Test Ride or call us on 01962 866122.
If we have your size in stock when you visit us, we can have your electric bike ready on the same day, so you can buy there and then if you wish. We can fit accessories to Cytronex electric bikes, like mudguards or a rack, while you wait.
You can take bicycles on trains from Winchester to London Waterloo as long as you are not traveling during the rush hour. Alternatively if you really have to use a car we also have 4 parking spaces!
About us
Modern Times Ltd has been trading since 1989 and has been developing the Cytronex electric bike concept for two years before its launch. We have and will continue to invest substantially in electric bicycle technologies.
Mark Searles is the designer of the Cytronex system and runs the company from our base near Winchester train station.
